Suno is a text-to-song generator that produces complete tracks with vocals, instruments, and a mixed master from a written prompt or user-supplied lyrics. The current v5.5 model supports custom lyric input, style prompts, stem separation, and audio uploads of up to 30 minutes for extending or reworking existing material. A Premier-tier workspace called Suno Studio adds a multitrack timeline for rearranging generated sections and exporting stems, and mobile apps for iOS and Android mirror the core generator.
Pricing is freemium: a free account receives 50 credits per day for non-commercial use, while the Pro plan ($10/month, or $8/month billed annually) includes 2,500 monthly credits and commercial-use rights for new songs. A Premier plan ($30/month, or $24/month annually) raises the allowance to 10,000 credits and includes Studio access; subscription credits do not roll over between months. In November 2025 Suno announced a licensing settlement with Warner Music Group; litigation with other major labels remains active.
