About Adobe Premiere
Adobe Premiere is a professional non-linear video editor for Windows and macOS with a companion mobile app, used in broadcast, film and agency workflows and connected to other Adobe applications such as After Effects and Audition. Its AI features work inside the timeline: Media Intelligence searches footage by plain-language description, Text-Based Editing builds rough cuts from a transcript, Enhance Speech cleans dialogue, Auto Reframe converts between 16:9 and 9:16, and Generative Extend adds a few frames to a clip. Speech to Text supports more than 18 languages, and captions can be auto-translated into 27.
Premiere is sold only by subscription. The single-app plan for individuals costs US$22.99 per month on an annual plan billed monthly and includes 100 GB of cloud storage, 25 monthly generative credits, Frame.io and Adobe Express Premium. Creative Cloud Pro, which bundles more than 20 applications and 4,000 monthly generative credits, is listed at US$69.99 per month. A seven-day free trial provides the full application; there is no permanent free version.
